In Your Light I Learn

09/13/16

In your light I learn how to love.

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you,

But sometimes I do, and that light becomes this Art.

Four: Desert Gems

Just got back from a trip to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, then a weekend in Sedona, Arizona. With the next few collages, thought I'd work on some of my impressions of visiting the desert.

those who love each other,

meet each other's eyes and

in what flows between them then.

In Your Light

In your light I learn how to love,

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you,

but sometimes I do,

and that light becomes this art.

Thought I'd give linoleum block printing a try for today's collage.  Not sure I captured my basset hound, Cleo, as well as Rumi did in his poem that accompanies.
