Since 2012, I've used this space to post creative experiments using the inspiration and insight gained from daily life and, at times, escape from daily life. Enjoy.

Day 344 Constellations
09/09/13
Louise Hay affirmation: “I
release all criticism.”
Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal: Use
stars, planets, and other things found in outer space as your inspiration.
Media: Columnar paper, Magazine photos, Mod Podge
Time: 1H:20M
Comments: Today's collage is a commentary on the upside down nature of my feelings about the feedback I'm getting at work lately, and the pointy-ness of the stars shooting my way. In a bit of a weird cycle... criticism and people who want to do my job are everywhere I turn. Vocal and hurtful in their negative feedback, I'm sure there's a lesson in it for me somewhere. Resilience? Again... haven't I already had that lesson before? If every person in life is a mirror of some aspect of self, then I criticize and therefore attract criticism? Or maybe unloving behavior from others is here to teach me to love myself? I release all criticism, and look for insight in the constellations.
