A for Effort

11x15 collage on paper
Today's collage incorporates touchpainting on tissue paper as one of its layers. I noticed about halfway into making this piece that I had what appeared to be a letter "A" in the middle of the page. I struggled to try to work around it or with it, or to mask it in some creative way. In the end, I just decided to leave it alone and view it as something that was meant to be.

Comments: Ran across the insect
creatures featured in this collage in a RAZ Imports catalog and loved the
surreal nature of their happy little world.
The green cabinet looks like a green apple
with a few bites taken out. Perfect munching for odd little creatures.
