Louise Hay affirmation:   “Today
I don’t have to fit into anyone else’s emotional atmosphere.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine photos, Cheesecloth, Tissue paper, Mod Podge

Comments:  The dog in today's collage is running with a wild-eyed abandon that says he/she doesn't have to fit into anyone else's emotional atmosphere.

Day 241 Chasing purple light

Day 241 Chasing purple light

241:365
05/29/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “My home is a peaceful haven.

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Make up a new sport.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine photos, Mod Podge, Sharpie

Time:  1H:10M

Comments:  The sport I made up is call Purple Light Chase.  The image in today's collage reminds me of a place in my backyard where I sometimes sit to reflect and meditate.  I have a lounge chair that I place under oak trees and when I look up, I feel that I'm somewhere in the woods.    What a peaceful haven at home!  On a good day, I'm able to perceive a purple undulating light during meditation... and feel it's a fruitful time spent.

Day 163 Good money

163:365
Day 163 Good money

03/12/13

Louise Hay affirmation:
“I earn good money doing what satisfies me.  My work is a joy and a pleasure.”

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Work with only the items you find in your refrigerator or freezer.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine and catalog photos, Mod Podge

Time:  1H:30M

Comments:

Today's collage is a combination of ideas that blend both the work for which I earn good money:
office design
commercial furnishings
finish specifications

And additional work that gives me joy and pleasure, but has yet to materialize as a means to earn good money:
dogs
Art and painting
residential design
holistic health and wellness
learning and writing

The selection of the giant pear photo is a reminder of the pears (and other fruits and vegetables) in the refrigerator from our organic food co-op. What a wonderful resource and alternative to grocery store produce.  We received our order today, and gratefully spend a portion of our good money every couple of weeks on it.
