Day 332 Wherever I turn

Day 332 Wherever I turn
332:365
08/28/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “I am safe wherever I turn.”

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Create a wheel chart or wheel calculator.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine and Calendar photos, Brad, Mod Podge

Time:  1H:30M

Comments:  The wheel chart in today's collage features a rotating Wegman calendar photo of a very safe and cozy pair of Weimeraner puppies.  As the wheel turns, there are icons revealed representing various aspects of life, work, play, learning, love, etc.  The blades of grass shown in the photo at the 7 o'clock position represent the fact that I am safe in Nature.  I am safe wherever I turn.

Day 307 Progress in process

Day 307 Progress in process
307:365
08/03/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “My healing is already in process.”

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Create something based on the shapes found in a plant in your immediate vicinity.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Wegman calendar photo, Mod Podge, Vellum confetti

Time:  1H:20M

Comments:  Today's collage features an forward-moving weimeraner pup, with equine companions in tow, focused on progressing in the process of healing.  The larger green leaf on the right side was from a tag on a shirt I purchased the other day.  Inspiration (and healing) comes from unlikely sources at times.

Day 296 Abundance is here now

Day 296 Abundance is here now
296:365
07/23/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “I relax and rejoice in the abundance that is here now.

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:  Go someplace where you would normally never do something creative and work there today.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, William Wegman Weimeraner Calendar photo, Mod Podge, Fabric pattern, Illustration from The Poky Little Puppy

Time:  50M

Comments:  Mostly, when I'm deep in a budget spreadsheet, I feel that I'm someplace where I don't do my most creative work. The puppy in today's collage is bundled up in a soft blanket on top of a background of spreadsheet/ledger paper.   Rather than crunching numbers, though, he/she's thinking about napping and, apparently, strawberry shortcake.

Day 279 Monument to mundane living

Day 279 Monument to mundane living
279:365
07/06/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “I am glad to be alive.

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Make a monument to a mundane event, place, or person.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine and Calendar photos, Mod Podge

Time:  45M

Comments:  Today's monument to a mundane event features a William Wegman weimeraner perched atop a stone sphere.  I am glad to be alive to see that retro-style wallpaper can work as Art for its own sake, though I'd think twice before putting it on my walls.

Day 193 Peaceful puppet playhouse

Day 193 Peaceful puppet playhouse

193:365
04/11/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “I accept my good without guilt.  I am peaceful with all the little things in life.”

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Build a puppet.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine and Calendar photos, Sharpie, Mod Podge

Time:  1H:10M

Comments:   Borrowing a little inspiration from the photography for William Wegman's dog-friendly upholstery for Crypton at Home, today's collage is a glance into an odd  little puppet show... where peaceful weimeraner's look out at their audience...  And the cat's pulling all the strings.
I am peaceful with all the little things in life.
