Day 290 Pico de Puppies

Day 290 Pico de Puppies
290:365
07/17/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “When it is time for a new job, the opportunity presents itself easily.

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:   Write a short love song about a pet.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine photos, Music paper, Illustrations from Bow the Dog, Tissue paper, Sharpie, Mod Podge

Time:  1H:20M

Comments:  Pretty sure I don't have much future in songwriting for dogs as a new job, but I do have several little jingles that I like to sing to my pups.  The song in today's collage is usually sung to the tune of Trout Fishing in America's rendition of Pico de Gallo.

Day 206 Sundown surprises

Day 206 Sundown surprises
206:365
04/24/13

Louise Hay affirmation:   “Forgiveness, tolerance, compassion.  I move forward without hesitation.”

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:
Look at the sky after the sun goes down today and make something inspired by what you see.

Media:  Scrapbook paper, Magazine photos, Bow the Dog book images, Glue stick, Watercolors, Mod Podge

Time:  1H:15M

Comments:  Got home from work after the sun went down today to find the long-lost fence installers in my yard working on the staining of the new wooden fence.  Since we didn't know they would be working today, found my scared puppies huddled with their little knees crossed inside the house... wondering why strangers were in their yard.

Forgiveness and tolerance.

Decided to take them for a walk to calm their nerves.  Beautiful evening.  Encountered a rogue Pug wandering the neighborhood.  After a couple uncertain moments during the obligatory canine greetings, we moved forward without hesitation.

Compassion.
