Since 2012, I've used this space to post creative experiments using the inspiration and insight gained from daily life and, at times, escape from daily life. Enjoy.

Day 108 Rub a dub
108:365
Louise Hay affirmation: “I no longer choose to believe in old limitations and lacks.”
Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal: Make something in the fog in your bathroom mirror.
Media: Magazine photos, Glue stick, Sharpie
Time: 1H
Comments: Looking in the mirror at choices made in the past can be a humbling experience. However, recognizing that, at any time, we can choose to see things differently can be fun and liberating. I'm coming to realize that believing in limitations and lacks can bring them forward. And simply believing they are not a part of who I am today can have the opposite effect.

Day 14 Heart rhythms
014:365
10/14/12
Louise
Hay affirmation: “My
heart beats to the rhythm of love.” (affirmation in support of the heart)
Day 14 Heart rhythms |
Inspiration
exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal: Make something microscopic.
How small can you work? Can you
make something that requires a magnifying glass or microscope to see?
Media: Magazine photos, In Bloom Bead Designs, matte medium,
scrapbook paper
Time: 1H:10M
Comments: Didn't go microsopic, but played with mosaic crystals for a jeweled effect. The rest were memories of or symbols of love that spoke to the theme for the day.
