Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal: Work
only with items that would be found in a hardware store today.

Comments: Funny that today's affirmation is about work and the exercise is about hardware. The two go well together. I poised the hammer above the crystal ball (curtain rod decor) as a reminder about how fragile we can be as Spirits in the workplace. And how some words can sit poised above us, ready to hammer down at any moment.
Can't say I always feel appreciated at work, but I do try to appreciate others. Hopefully, my words today wouldn't cause the crystal to shatter. I had a chance to recognize the efforts of a coworker, by sharing a collage that I made earlier in the year. It seemed to fit well with a story she shared in our team meeting yesterday, and made her smile when I gave it to her.
The second half of today's affirmation gives me more to ponder on the theme of work, "As I value life, life values me."
