Comments: I like the little llama-like creature in today's collage peeking out the doorway at new opportunities that are surely waiting just beyond the threshold.

Though it's tough to pick up in the photo, below the door handle, there's a delicate glass mobile/windchime sculpted of tumbling human figures in glass. Beautifully fragile and powerfully acrobatic at once... just like life.

Comments: Today's one of those days when the affirmation of the day is mostly aspirational.

Spent most of the day sleeping, and nursing the upset stomach that came with my second gallstone flush. Late in the afternoon, I was finally able to take oatmeal and peppermint tea.

Fortunately, still able to work on the collage of the day.

Comments: Today's collage features a brightly colored frog with huge eyes. I don't know too much about frog vision, but surely eyes like that can see clearly in many directions, including reverse.

Kind of like looking back at lessons we've learned along the way is clearer than when we are in the middle of them.

Comments: Mostly, when I'm deep in a budget spreadsheet, I feel that I'm someplace where I don't do my most creative work. The puppy in today's collage is bundled up in a soft blanket on top of a background of spreadsheet/ledger paper. Rather than crunching numbers, though, he/she's thinking about napping and, apparently, strawberry shortcake.

Comments: The letter to self in today's collage reminds me that I can choose to see abundance in all things. Thought the golden, throne of a chair expressed an air of royalty in its gilded upholstery. The fictional Me might enjoy such a fancy vantage point for viewing prosperity everywhere, though the actual Me is usually content with more simple seating choices.

Comments: Today's collage made me think about the science and engineering that goes into the salt we eat in our processed, factory-produced foods. Not sure how in harmony with nature this approach is proving to be for the health of the individuals that consume laboratory-derived salty snacks, but the addictive crunch seems to cover a multitude of ills. Regardless of the time and energy we spend engineering our own demise, I still bless this planet with love.
