Day 20 Pretty in pink

Louise Hay affirmation:   “I am willing to change the patterns in me that created this condition.  I love and approve of myself.  I am safe.” (jaw problems)

Inspiration exercise from 365 Daily Creativity Journal:  Buy or make some clay and then use it like you never have  before.

Media:  Magazine and catalog photos, scrapbook paper, Sharpie, Zots, glue stick

Time:   1H

Comments: I've always like the photo of the space with pink paint on the wall, but found it a little too "girlie" for real life.  This collage works for me in splitting up the picture with some background elements that are a little less precious.   Adding grounding elements from the earth (clay pendulum light and turtle) also help.

When it comes to the jaw, I like the symbolism of a turtle.  Slowing down and not speaking the first thought that comes to mind may be a way of helping to change patterns of thought/reaction that are not as loving as they could be.
